There are many recipes contained on the website, and you can contact our office for much more information and recipe pamphlets.

Chestnuts Australia Inc., participated in several festivals during the 2011 season around North East Victoria;  our giant chestnut roasting pan was a huge crowd pleaser, (see photos above) we look forward to seeing you next year, when next we will be cooking up a storm!

Annual Meetings and the Landcare Sustainable Practices Project Field Day were held Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th October, 2011 in Bright.  It was an extremely intersting round of meetings, where among other matters Dr Heather Kane was appointed as new CAI President.  All presentaions from the annual meetings will be posted in the Members Only section of the website.  Field day presentations will be posted under the Landcare Sustainable Practices Project section.

In light of events with the discovery of Chestnut Blight, CAI are working to assist DPI and growers to achieve the best possible outcome for the industry.  This response has been possible because we have an active association supported by grower members.  The Chestnut Industry is estimated to worth $10m in NE Victoria alone, this is a viable industry and we need to work together to keep it that way.  The best way to support CAI to tackle this issue on behalf of ALL growers is to become a financial member - NOW!  Its a great time to join as the one off joining fee of $55.00 has been waived to gain as many growers as possible.  Please feel free to contact us with any queries or comments you may have.
