There is no shortage of options for growers and packers, and in the near future the choice will have to be made if it hasn't been made already. The task is to ensure that the system chosen meets the need of the business in its role as a direct supplier or indirect supplier. The system must also be acceptable to customers. These considerations apply equally to those embarking on a program as it does to those evaluating their current program to see if it is adequate. Fortunately all systems articulate reasonably well so moving up a level (or down for that matter) can be done with minimal difficulty.
